What are your store hours?
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Seven days a week. (March- November)
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 P.m. Monday- Saturday and 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. on Sundays (December-February)
We are closed or will close early on all major holidays. Please keep in mind that due to the nature of our business, we may close early due to weather conditions. We ask that you call before you head to our store on days when weather is questionable. We may close early due to employee meetings, thank you for your cooperation.

Where are you located?
10682 Bandera Road San Antonio, Tx 78250. We are located at Bandera and New Prue (behind the Walgreens), 2 stoplights inside Loop 1604. Here is the map.

Where are the carts?
Silver, two level push carts with child seats are at the front of the nursery near the main parking lot. Pull carts are underneath tables and out and about where customers have left them. Hand baskets are also available just inside the store near the registers.

It's 9:01 a.m. and your back gate on Prue Rd. is closed. What the heck?
Oops, sorry about that. Sometimes we forget or run a little late. If we're here, our main gate on Bandera Rd. is always open.

It's 5:46 p.m. and your back gate on Prue Rd. is closed. What the heck?
Sorry about that. The back gate closes 15 minutes prior to closing time at 6 p.m. If we are still here, our main gate on Bandera Rd. is still open, but we may be on our way out!

Do you sell sod?
No, we recommend Del's Grass: 681-2744.

Do you sell dirt or mulch in bulk quantities?
No, we carry them in bags only. Try contacting Fertile Garden Supply or Buckhorn Soil & Stone.

Do you sell stepping stones?
Yes, we have them in a variety of sizes and shapes.

Do you sell trees?
Yes. We have many different varieties of trees starting in a 5 gallon container up to a 125 gallon container.

Do you install trees?
Yes, we have a planting crew that plants anything from small shrubs to larger trees. Tree planting includes
delivery, installation, mulch and 1 year warranty. We will also contact the city to locate underground utilities in your yard. Locations outside our normal delivery zone are subject to a one time additional delivery fee. Call or come by for details!

Should I fertilize a newly planted tree?
No, we recommend using root stimulator on newly planted plants twice a month for three months. You can use a granular tree and shrub fertilizer after about a year that the plant has been in the ground.

Do you offer landscaping?
Yes, we have a landscaping department that offers design and installation of plants, water features, arbors, flaggstone patios and more. Estimates are free. To request landscaping services, fll out a request form either online or in-store. Please keep in mind that due to the high volume of landscape requests, it may take some time for the landscape department to contact you regarding your request.

Can I feed the fish?
We feed our fish only once a day in the evening. You can feed them if you come by in the afternoon, no one has fed them yet and you ask real nice.

Do you charge for little sprouts classes?
No, everything for little sprouts is free of charge.

What are the age requirements for little sprouts?
Little Sprouts is designed for ages 3-12, but any age is welcomed.

Where is the cat?
If he's not on the counter, we don't know. He's out doing kitty things.

What is the cat's name?

Can I pet him?
Pet at your own risk! He is unpredictable. He WILL BITE or scratch. If he approaches you, he probably will let you pet him. If he's sleeping on the counter, that's a different story. Parent's please do not encourage your children to pet him.

Do you offer soil testing?
No, but we do offer soil testing kits.

Do you offer backflow testing?
No, we no longer offer that service.

Are you a wholesale nursery?
No.

Can you hold plants for me?
Sorry, we cannot hold plants without payment.

Can I pay for plants and pick them up at a later date?
Yes, we will hold plants that are paid for up to ten days. We also offer delivery and installation.

Can I pay for plants over the phone?
Yes.

What type of credit cards to you accept?
We accept all major credit cards in addition to cash and checks.

What is your return policy?
Please keep your receipt. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT A RECEIPT. Credit card and bank statements will not be accepted. Plants can only be returned or exchanged if they are in the same condition as they were when purchased. We cannot be responsible for over or under watering of plants. RETURNS CANNOT BE MADE ON STRESSED OR DEAD PLANTS. If the plant/product is returned within 24 hours with receipt, your money will be issued back to you. If it is returned after 24 hours, but within 30 days of original purchase, we will issue a store credit for the amount that was purchased. No returns on plants sold to landscape contractors. Opened hard goods cannot be returned.

OK, how do I take care of the stuff I just bought?
Here are our recommendations for watering your new plants:
•Containers should be checked at least once daily (in summer sometimes twice a day).
•Perennials/Annuals/Shrubs that are planted in the ground should be watered 2-3x per week, 3-5 minutes by hand.
•Trees should be watered 2-3x per week, 5-10 minutes by hand.
•Palms/Succulents/Cactus should be watered once a week, 3-5 minutes by hand.

Do you have gift cards?
Yup. They are available in any denomination.

Do you replace lost/stolen gift cards?
No, please keep them in a safe location.

Yes, but it may take us some time to get to it.
